How to reach the workshop location
Gent is connected with the airport and railway stations in Brussels by direct trains. From the Sint-Pietersstation in Gent, frequent trams or taxis take you to the city center (5 min).

By plane from Brussels International Airport The airport has a train station on floor -2 There are few direct trains to Gent-Sint-Pieters. There are frequent trains to Bruxelles-Midi.
By plane from Charleroi, Brussels South (Ryanair) Take a city bus to Charleroi train station and then the train or take the airport bus to Bruxelles-Midi train station. From there, take the train to Gent-Sint-Pieters.
By train from Paris, Koeln, London, you arrive in Bruxelles-Midi train station
Take the train to Gent from Bruxelles-Midi (Brussel-Zuid, Brussels-South). From there it is 30min by fast train (no intermediate stops) to the main station in Gent: Gent Sint-Pieters. The final destination of these trains are Oostende, Knokke, Poperinge. Avoid slow trains that have Gent as final destination (60min).

By car, Gent can be reached by the highways E40 or E17. Driving toward the center brings you to the Parking route (most of the center is free of cars). Follow the signs (P-route) to the parking P7 (Sint-Michiels). Address of P7: Sint-Michielsplein 8.

From station Gent St-Pieters: take tram 1. Exit at Korenmarkt. Note that there are construction works at Gent-Sint-Pieters station. Please have a look at this map which explains where to take the tram. Walk west over the Sint-Michiels bridge crossing the river. Turn left behind the Sint-Michiels church, follow the street turning right The conference location is on the left side.
